| wow has it been forever on here! probably no one will even read this cause no one does xanga anymore...i don't know if i'll be back or not either though, so i can't complain. well, let's see...i'm still working at the same place, still living in an apartment (although i've upgraded from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom!)...however i am MARRIED now! woohoo! my husband & i got married August 15th, 2009. it was a beautiful ceremony in a church in St. Louis, MO. we had lots of family & friends show up. a wonderful & fun reception to follow and then a private dinner setting outside on my parents lawn for just our families. that was probably my favorite part! my husband is finishing college up now and will be done in May of this year. we're praying & searching for where God wants us to be when he's finished school. what a big thing to take on...where should we live our life? not such an easy question all the time. but we're trusting & believing that God will show us where He wants us. | | |
| is anyone out there in the xanga world anymore? i know it's been almost half a year for me...but i thought i'd come check out what's going on over here...anything exciting? let me know if you still check xanga from time to time. peace, love and silliness! | | |
| i've decided to go home for my birthday. it'll be good fun though. i'll hang out with family and then have a bonfire at some point and hopefully some friends will be able to stop by. that just means i get to celebrate even more while i'm here in springfield! i always love it when i can stretch my bday celebrations throughout the month of november.
the cold has come upon us this week. yesterday was so warm and now today is about 30 degrees colder. how drastic...go missouri. yesterday i'm in a t-shirt...today a turtleneck. lol. now we need our first frost so ALL the leaves turn color!
| well my bad! i haven't been on here for a long time! i never go this long....i guess i just got more caught up in myspace and facebook. i'll try to be a little more faithful.
not much going on...my sis-in-law is going to have a baby in november and my other sis-in-law will have a baby in march...so our family is growing! i love it. my bday is around the corner and i can't wait. it's always a good excuse to party with friends and family. although, i can't decide whether i should have a party here in springfield or go home for my bday to be with more family. I CAN'T DECIDE!!!!
that's all for now. i'm thankful that cold weather is coming around the corner. my air conditioner and utility bill need a break. yay for fall...my fav season.
| General Council/Fine Arts is over with and now we are back to having everyone in the office. it's a lot more busy than last week, that's for sure! our new receptionist is trying to learn everything and i find myself amazed at how much training i'm actually doing when i suggested that i don't do a lot of the training. it's been a little difficult to get anything done on my end. but i'm still holding on and managing.
it's a life, but someone has to lead it.
